Ya, I hope it's not gonna be like that. One force lightning as light side and there goes half your force powers. Shouldn't matter which side your on, and if it does thats gonna pose a problem with pvp. How are they gonna balance it if they do that?

In kotor you can but if you were using lightning as light it used a ***** load of force

Unless you were level fifty in KOTOR II. Then it didn't matter. Your force regenerated faster than it depleted.

Wow... All I can say is wow. You guys are actually arguing in a Screenshot page. Amazing. Keleus you seem to know what you're talking about, so kudos to you. But honestly I read the posts trying to argue points and I find it funny. You guys act like you're the ones who made up this stuff. Only George Lucus himself can limit what can and cannot be done in the Star Wars Universe. "You cant damage what you dont have im afraid" Really?! It's the Force. ANYONE with Force abilities can do whatever they want with it... As long as they take the time and master how to do it. So a Jedi can use Force Lightning. A Sith can use Light side powers. It's just looked down upon depending on which side of the force is looking at you. Sith appear "Weak" learning Light side powers. Jedi look as if they will fall to the dark side if they learn "Dark" side powers; Force Lightning, Force Choke and whatnot.

But honestly, why wouldn't you want to learn all you can about the force. Both sides are very closed minded which is their weakness. Jedi carefully choose their candidates, which causes their numbers to be very low. BUT they have Loyalty even in overwhelming odds. Whereas the Sith take ANYONE. BUT there is no loyalty. Fear is the only thing that keeps them united. So if there is even the slightest crack in that fear, there could be a civil war within the Sith. So as I was saying. Both sides in my eyes are weak. They are limited strictly because of their beliefs.

Argue my points all you want because I probably won't look at this shot again. But I've given detailed reason behind this rant. When you plays this game, keep your minds opened to ALL possibilities. I don't want this to be a boring game with the whole Light side/Dark side, clear black and white, right and wrong crap. I want something a little more interesting.

I think were all forgeting the scene were the emperor gets HIS arse handed to him by Mace Windu, and as for force lightning... it was the emperors own force lightning that continued to deform him as Windu was reflecting it back down at him from his saber. Dumbass sith didn even think of stopping casting it while he was cooking himself

To Arbitrex: The webcomic shows the Sith leaving Coruscant after trashing the place, kinda like a bad rock band at the hotel after party. Basically you can't occupy the planet, it would take too much resources, which si why the sith simply made the quick run in and out move to force the republic into that treaty, after which they ran like hell to take the outer rim planets.

Zappy zap zap. Oh yea, IIRC a Jedi can also reflect or even absorb the lightning, and in some speculations of the expanded universe a Jedi has his own version of force lightning. Again, speculation, of the expanded universe not exact fact yet, so idk, but if it is, well, you guys are toooooaaaaast. Not to mention a Jedi's Mind Powers still exceed a sith's.
