i think for jedi they should get a lightsaber early on and have the choice to upgrade it with points or to use the points to upgrade force powers to create more diversity amongst characters.

I was just thinking, but it has came to my attention that the Jedi nor the Sith has a variation of Lightsaber Crystals, I mean for the colour of the blade. Because the Jedi Order normally has the option to create a blue or a green saber, standard. But since the timeline of this game is far from the Rise of Palpatines Empire, it wasn't rare for Jedi or Sith to have a different blade colour. But please don't see this note as an insult, because I really love the idea of an MMORPG in the Old Republic style.
And yet I have another question about Lightsaber combat; I'd like to know if there is any option for the player to choose which type of duellist you want to become. Form I looks like a standard to me, but I was curious if the player would be able to choose from Lightsaber styles from Form I to Form VII, Juyo; not Vaapad, since Mace Windu invented the style a few years before the Clone Wars. With those styles I'd like to see if there is any difference in Lightsaber-hilts, like some kind of curved saber if the player likes to fight in Makashi (Form II) or like Anakin's if the player desides to fight in Djem So/Shien (Form V).

And then what about Darth Sion? You take one look at that walking jisaw puzzle and tell me what keeps him together.

No I mean that he used the Force to keep himself alive for who knows how long without it he would've fallen apart like a pile of leaves in a wind storm.
My point: Force users who are well trained can extend their lives with the Force which is something that Rav Bralor and Hybrid Epidemic dont get.

That's almost as lame as claiming your character's learned to prolongue their life hundreds of years, it's just a corny way for godmoders to try to explain their supposed seniority and superiority over people who like to roleplay correctly and within boundaries. Yeah and you should remember that with the Force anything is possible, if need be one who is well trained enough can extend his or her life with the Force. And then there's the life support tech suits like Vader wore, had they not put him in that suit he would've died.

Uh, why are you saying you lost your family in the Mandalorian Wars? The events in TOR happen nearly 300 years after Revan left for the unknown regions, which was AFTER the Mandalorian wars itself....

Well I just have to say this. the guys choosing jedi and sith are all just about taking over and killing each other and I win and kill you, and sith are like, jedi must die to achieve peace.

im glad you additude has change yeahmandudesweat we can argue without the personals attacks on both sides the jedi casted us out because we wanted to study the unknown to unlock it secrets its the jedis lack of change that pushed us to make the first move

Of course we started this war, we're tired of watching the Jedi Order sit back and do nothing during times of crysis, like they did in the Mandalorian Wars, and we're tired of the Republic always allowing itself to fall into chaos. When we take over we will destroy the Jedi once and for all and restore order to the galaxy.

If you're talking about the war that is currently going on in SW:TOR, it was actually started by the Sith. The republic was totally unprepared and the Sith took over half the galaxy so kudos to them.

If one were to go by codes alone, one would immediately choose Sith. Of course, if a smart man, hell even a lamen manwere to look closely upon the subject, he'd probably understand that the guys with the red lightsabers and slight bit of psycosis running around slaughtering everything that moved, he would probably pick the pacifistic looking guys in brown robes called Jedi.

Another thing to back up the psycosis thing, (i did choose this word correctly) Is that a Jedi would normally describe the Force as a feeling pulsing through him, and whispering into his ear, as if everything had a sound of it's own to it. Now, many a time I have questioned why the hell would losing a loved one, or being hurt or seeking revenge make one fall so far into the Darkside.......Well I found that answer. If a Jedi can hear the Force, then the Jedi can hear the Darkside of the Force as well. At one point during a dark act, I'm sure the Jedi would hear the Darkside call out to him, and the darkside from there would probably brainwash the poor ***** and then twist him. Ironicly the ideal of both sides is to achieve balance, just that one wants it through peace, debates, and unity of life, while the other just says ***** it and starts burning everything down. Problem is, both sides need each otehr to thrive, because to know what a good day is, you gotta have a bad one first.

And I have no real Idea why I did this, but I felt I had to. Hopefully this helsp quell some stupid debates and fighting, or it could incite some more. Nonetheless I had a gut instinct to do this so I did it.

btw, I'm pretty sure there have been Sith who have defeated Jedi Masters before. I think I remember Bane or someone killing three of them with two Jedi Knights, by himself.
