i figure that Droid is going to be a race that is class restrictive to most everything exept Jedi and Sith. A BH Droid would be awsome.

I'm eager to see a more fleshed-out list of classes and races. Although I love the Bounty Hunters (I always dressed as Boba Fett for Halloween) I want to know more about what I'm getting into. What are the starship piloting requirements? What does it take to get a droid? What races can roll as what classes? Although, so far, the Trooper, Smuggler, and Bounty Hunter all look immensely wicked. P.S. Mandalore Rules. Pitty it's a non-playable faction, eh?

I am gonna be a bounty hunter unless they come out with an assassin class because killing secrectly and silently is the best... I may work with you one day and hunt you down the next (Although I will probrably assassinate more jedi and troopers because they will hinder my operations).

i don't like the fact that bounty hunters are only in alliance with the sith, who said that bounty hunters have to be bad? bounty hunters don't just kill, they capture and bring back alive. they would be a great ally to the republic as they are with the sith.

well, I agree that technically the bountyhunter as a class should be faction-free, same goes if they have mercenaries. It´s guns for hire, politics shouldn't be an issue to them

they say in one of the bioware vids that even though you are on the Empire side doesn't mean you are bad.

What Bioware is trying to do is separate Faction from Allignment.

However in Star wars episodes 1 to 3 a great number of senators are under Republic pay role so they will side with the Republic unless they want to lose their credits or get a pay cut.

the republic and the senate are actually different "dumbass"... the senate is a collection of multiple factions... duh... so there are republic senators and emperial senators and sepratist senators and many other factions... so think before you speak mandalore scum...

i think skai and argos are both right.. this is how i see it. the senate IS somewhat like congress to the united states, but there are separate factions within it, such as the separatists for example, so it's different than the US, because everyone in congress is "loyal" to and a "citizen" of the united states, whereas members of the senate aren't necessarily "loyal" to the republic, as they are to their factions or planets.

Um, the Senate is to the Republic as Congress is to the United States.
