Yeah I like that they have a cover system like in mass effect.

I’m new to MMO(RPG)s so can anyone message me to explain what a guild is?, what all this join my guild offers are about and why I should join a guild?.
Pleas give as much coherent detail as possible.

A guild is an organization of players. The reason people form them, is to have a regular team up with for content that is too hard to solo. The idea is you're dealing with people who are known quantities as opposed to random people you may not have met before.

Another reasons to join a guild: Equipment trade, say you are a smuggler and your find some lightsaber crystals. They might find some blaster parts and the two of you both get what you want without having to go through a common market.

Guild is a holdover from Fantasy-based MMOs. EVE online uses the term corporation, City of Heroes calls them Supergroups or Villain groups, I heard the Star Trek MMO will have "Fleets"

All I've seen with these female characters is short hair, I am so tired with games only giving you limited options of short hairstyles because they were too lazy to come up with graphics to support the texture and movement of longer hair. I want the option of going from long hair to short or short to long. Males should have that option as well. People can get bored easily of how their character looks, which is why with RPG's you should give the player full control over their character, not just the actions of their character but their look as well. Please bioware, dont limit us players, or we will be very dissatisfied. If you want to bring in the dough, listen to the fans, or just the ones who know what they're talking about.
AND PLEASE hurry it up, the one thing I hate the most is wait for game developers make unnecessary precise details on games which I probably wont notice and if I do I wont give it a second thought.
I am an impatient person and waiting really pisses me off. And I am totally finding reasons why I should just forget this game and tell all the other people I got pumped for this game to forget it too, just because you people are taking your dandy fricken time making it. You let people know about this game and got them pumped and excited, and then you make them wait and wait, that excitement disappears with time and this site is NOT enough to keep fans happy, its not enough for me anyway.

This game has been in development for 3 years thats typical of an MMO, as they are very big games with alot of content. You need to relax. And how the hell can you claim you want something NOW!!! and then say they take their sweet time making the game doing stuff you wouldnt even notice. You cant have it both ways. Either put the game out NOW!!! or take your time doing stupid little details like how long your hair is, pick one.

I don't think bioware is taking long hair seriously enough also. I am sure to give up the game right there and then in character creation when I realize that I'm going to be stuck being a guy playing a female character with short hair. How am I going to role play my larping character Sarah Kalasknakovakov ??? She has so much long hair when I started LARPing I had to combine three wigs! It took me a month! Bioware better not make me wait half as long for long hair.

You have to wait. Bioware can't just crap out an awesome game then sell it. It takes time. If companies don't put time into games, then they'll most likely suck pretty bad. Like CoD5. Hate that crap. lol

Calm down there, This is BioWare. When it comes to them making games, they take as long as they need to so that it meets their standards, which are quite high. Relax and understand that this game probably won't be coming out till sometime in 2010. All the BioWare games I've played, I haven't been disappointed and I know when the game does finally arrive, it will have been worth the wait. :)

*Might I recommend Dragon Age: Origins (10/20/09) or Mass Effect 2 (??/??/2010) to help pass the time.

Seems to me like we have a clear surveillance photo of a young Spy who dropped straight out of spy college. It would have done her good to have stayed in for just a bit longer, me thinks. Can't really say her infiltration skills are top notch. The Jedi are probably pointing and laughing at her through their CCTV cameras. Bless her.

Well we aren't. The Sith are the ones who will fall.

Personally the "outfit" she is wearing looks a lot like the combat suit you are first given in KotOR. Only it is slightly "modernized". I thought the same thing when I watched the latest trailer "Deceived" on the Twi'lek.

What one is wearing has no bearing on what class/profession they are. A smuggler dressed like a Bounty hunter is still a smuggler. On the subject of smugglers.... Smugglers, I thought worked for the money not for a specific side. Because of this, I am a little disappointed that there is no Neutral Faction. You know, the common people, that get bullied by the Sith or saved by the Jedi(or vice versa depending on point of view)

I don't understand this assumption that everyone on the republic side will be holding the hands of Jedi... HOG WASH!!! not everyone in the republic wants jedi in the mix... Jedi are peace keepers and guardians of the republic. Smugglers don't want to get caught by jedi anymore then the unprepared bounty hunter or distraced Sith. Perhaps this is nothing more then a training op. to make sure the, "spy" as everyone keeps calling her, is prepared to get around force sensitives... like Sith for example.

It is interesting to see each persons speculations though. It will be even more interesting when the races that will be playable are released. along with the rest of the Professions. I personally really hope they lean away from EQ/WoW based and keep it skills and talent based(vaguely SW:G-ish). But I doubt that very seriously.

I think they will have the light/dark alignment on top of the faction alignment for this reason. A bounty hunter works for the sith for the money, but might not share their values. The same applies for any on the republic side; a few probably hate the jedi and want nothing to do with them, yet still fight the sith.

She looks like a smuggler more than anything :)

She does look like a smuggler the only thing is that smugglers work for the Republic. The caption says that she is avoinding detection from the jedi. Plus she is wearing the same outfit from the trailer. Maybe I am reading to much into it though. I kind of hope it isn't a spy that outfit looks too close to something a smuggler would wear.

So, what's the consensus? Bounty hunter or potential assassin?

Sorry,but you can't hide from a trooper. We'll take any challenge that throws itself at us,and unless you really want a fight, I suggest you wach out who really has the training,stamina,and skill.

I know,I'm obsessed with the trooper,LOL!

im not looking forward to the beta because they will purpousley make the game carelessly and there will be like 1000,000,000, bugs. so they will then challenge us to find them.

Bioware have already said they will have a closed beta for bug detection with different computers then a 4 week timeframe to test server stress for open beta then it will release.

all the planets,classes and things have been completed they are just releasing it little by little chances are they are doing inhouse beta and polishing now
