This and the scout trooper looking armor are the reasons I want to roll a trooper. Well, those and the big friggin guns.

since the republic gets the trooper then i bet there will be a mandalorian warrior for the empire side, think about it, cause they helpin out the imps atm

I would like to see how the comic plays on the new Mandalore. He kills the one who was helping the Empire and has a very traditional Mandalore Armor that harkens back to the time of the Taung Mandalorians and the Great Hyperspace War. Its also interesting to see that the republic is using that type of armor. Perhaps the Mandalorians adopted their armor configuration from different species over the years. Im sure we all remember how the Mandalorians looked during the Mandalorian and Jedi Civil Wars.

I dunno about that mandalorian everybody is talking about :P i think there will be a similar sith trooper class :P Like in their webcomic :)

this armor looks awesome, but overall i gotta hand it to the bounty hunters.

In the last holonet entry some Empire trooper-esque soldiers are shown walking on Coruscant, but in one of the videos someone says the same classes won't be available on both sides. I'm guessing that means the two sides will have equivalent classes. Jedi/Sith ?Smuggler/Bounty Hunter? So it is a good idea to assume that the Trooper class will have a counterpart on the Imperial side. What will it be called, Imperial Soldier?

Again like i said about the smuggler uniform everyones just basing uniforms and armor off of clone troopers and stuff and just tricking it out. I just want to see some truly new armor.

Seeing the different types of armor submitted I wounder if there will be skill classes for each such as heavy DD or tank? (excuse the WoW reference)

its not a wow reference as such lol , iam guessing a dps spec and a tank spec for end game content, but a ranged tank wouldnt really work imo as it is normaly melee tanking a boss as the boss focuses on them, im intrigued to see how they will deal with end game content, e.g raids

This makes me want to roll a Trooper, this reminds me of the Brotherhood of Steel armor from the Fallout series.

I was thinking out of the classes so far, if I'm going to be Republic, I'd probably be a Trooper. But while I was thinking of being Republic, I still would prefer being a Bounty Hunter (Sith). I'll have some tough decisions to make when this game is finished.

This is probably my favorite trooper gear.

I hope theres an option to hide helmets, I like it an all but I think it will look better without.

It'd be awesome if hiding your helmet gave you reduced armor cause your head is exposed. It'd never happen but it'd make sense.

Yeah, but I think it's a stupid move to have armor that looks exactly the same as clone trooper armor. They have a gap of 3,000 years between them, but their armor is the same? Just stupid i think

To be honest I don't care for the color scheme or the helmet. It looks to much like the Clone Wars era armor. The color red is fine just the gray clashes with it.

Nice. I like the use of the Kama.

He's not wearing a Kama... or am I blind? I would like to see a Kama as a wearable item the ARC Troopers are awesome.
