I'm too excited about this game and this story. These comics are a great idea, and a creative way to introduce us to the game itself.
To go on the Role-Playing bit; I, for one, will definitely role-play my character. I love to RP, though I just recently took part in it. I just hope the community of role-players in The Old Rupublic is as dedicated as I hope.

If the RP community is going to be anything like the one in Star Wars Galaxies, then I don't think we have much to worry about. Plus, even more people will feel even more immersed by this environment I am thinking, more than that of Galaxies, so the roleplaying community may become even larger! I predict people will feel very at home and comfortable with this new project.

Man, Dark Horse Comics (amazing comics) joining with Bioware (amazing RPG's), i think the only way this could get better was if it dispensed ice cream and created world peace.

Does anyone know if there is a book published that has detailed lore from the beginning up through the movies and past? I am able to piece some of ti together from KOTOR, but the history/lore seems so rich. I want to know if there are books written in a time line form or maybe even books written in the time of KOTOR or before.

Well, there are books taking place in the Sith Era for instance there's one on Darth Bane (which I believe is after the kotors)....but I don't know of one big book with it all together....I have tons of extended universe books (ones from before Ep I also)....I think that's a good thing to look up....

well that was probobly less revealing about the comic than the TITLE they gave us! But do I see the shape of a light saber in the bottom right of the last frame?

hopefully this will give us more insight into the story than the main descriptions that have been the same since October!

Very amusing that we can see concept art that one of the designers said would most likely be in the Game, I can't wait for this Game to come. I've been waiting for so long for a Sequel to Kotor 1&2 and it's been said that this game will be like 3,4,5,6... etc. On top of that I've never been enthused about any other game so much, wait to top that it will be my very first MMO RPG!!!

Yes, this will be pretty sweet....I've played WOW and LOTROnline, so this won't be my first....I'd always wanted them to make a sequel to the first kotors and this is it like you said....it'll be definately worth waiting for....

I had hoped that this would be a new series in between and that KOTOR 3 would still be made nad tie together the events after the exile left Malachor and hopefully joined Revan to deal with the Sith threat and finally give us the exile's name.

That would be kinda stupid if that happened....isn't this AFTER kotors?....I wouldn't want him to be in this one....isn't Revan's ghost or tomb in the 2nd kotor or am I wrong....I remember fighting Malak's ghost....oh, yea, didn't Malak overthrow Revan and killed him because Revan was above Malak in position....

They probably won't bring Revan back but if they did Revan would be a Male Jedi because that's technically the canon version

Placing Revan within the story plot would be at least somewhat awkward. Given the fact, Revan was male/female, turned to the light side (again) or to the dark side - depending on your choice in KOTOR 1.
Would it be okay to you, if Revan would pop up in the game as a female Sith? Maybe, if you decided to be Revan like this back in 2004. I would not be so happy about it.

No, the events of this game are set AFTER Kotor and Kotor2, Revan was already born and ran off beyond the outer rim. So for all you know Revan could still be alive by using the force to stave off death.

This game is meant to be set 300 years AFTER the events of KOTOR and KOTOR2 so technically it is possible Revan could still be alive although realistically i doubt the game makers will put him in somewhere... although they might.

Really great news, this will be a cool way to get people familiar with the setting if they haven't played KoToR.

I'd also like to know where you heard about a child between bastula and revan. and while it is true that bastula remained behind after Revan left (as seen in the sith holocron recording) we also learn that Bastula eventually followed him after he never came back (TC-14 influence) and that she was the one who left the droids behind.

well, this is three hundred years after the events of KotOR, so i would say bastila is dead and gone, and where did you get she and revan had a kid? i never heard that before

I have to take a moment to make this observation. Does anyone, perchance, notice that the Female Jedi to the left of the Togruta Jedi bares a striking resemblance to Jedi Bastila Shawn of KotOR? I could be mistaken, yet I have somewhat of a talent for noticing subtle details in the faces of others, and I can not help but take notice of several indicators, namely her eyes, nose, and mouth.

One must recall that even though we were not completely privy to the fate of the former Darth Revan, we do know from a particular event in KotOR II: The Sith Lords, that Bastila did indeed remain in Republic space when Jedi Revan journeyed into the Outer Rim to seek "The coming Darkness." When we see her again, she would seem most desperate to learn the fate of her Love, and one could speculate that it was in the hopes of seeing the father of her Child once more. But,given the time-frame of TOR, and the usual arguments which arise when one invokes KotOR's "Canon" ending, I leave any such conclusions and resolutions in the hands of Bioware's writers.

As for my observations concerning the above image? I leave that open to debate, or agreement.

It's a drawing. I think you're overanalyzing and looking into it too much. I did think, however, that Avril Lavigne was making a cameo in the middle frame in full screen haha! I'm so stoked on this comic and I hope there will be some color or at least neutral-colored shading to it.

Sry to dissapoint you but this woman has so much resemblence with bastila, like a wookie has with a mandalorian, first of all bastila used to have a little pig like, but nice nose, this woman has a nose like an arrow, who could strike somebody down, second the forehead of this woman is higher than both, neither revan nor bastila had something like this. Oh yes well if you say the eyes a pretty familiar, well in black and white almost every pair of eyes looks familiar. So nope I don't think that this female is the child, even if she used to live in a krypto tank vor 280 years.

Funny, each time the Old Republic era and a human female jedi are involved, there's always someone to say "hey, it's Bastila!"... no harm there, just an observation ;p
