Design is a little boring but it still kills stuff so im good w/ it!

I bet it'll be available for the Sith Apprentice at the beginning of the game. It'd be a good weapon for self-defense, before constructing one's lightsaber (I think such a quest is very likely to be in the game).

hope weapons such as guns, granades, blasters, rifles are less effective in the hands of sith or jedi.

but i agree sith(maybe low skill ones) should be able to use one of these and help them blast small fiends in korriban while they train in the dark powers of the force....to be continued

While it would be indescribably awesome for us to be able to switch between shooting blasters and wielding lightsabers in real time... it makes me wonder how this would affect the other classes in the game who's main weapons would be blasters. Would this make the jedi too strong (even though they are supposed to be that strong)? But i guess this could be balanced out by making the jedi more powerful yet more vulnerable while the other classes can wear heavier armor without penalties or letting them be able to throw grenades or even allowing them to have jet packs like boba fett while denying the jedi access to these abilities but still allowing the jedi's to use blasters...What do you guys think? (I really want to be a jedi and use blasters)

i think if the jedi are permited to use these it will be balanced and require spending skill points to hone, wich would make your saber skills weaker.
then again, im certain these are for classes like soldiers, and probably not for saber wielders.
that armor thing is a good point to, i bet the jedi will have to wear robes

hopefully its just named a Sith blaster with the intent to kill a sith jedi using it. I really don't want this game to just all be JEDI that would be extremely boring

Have you ever even played KOTOR? The game is ALL about choice. If you want to be Sith, you're sith. If you want to be a commando, you can be. This game will be hundreds of hours long, and no matter how long you play, no matter how many accounts you try, you wont be able to play the game every different way.

I don't know about designing your own guns and changing the shape and all that. But personalizing with scopes, barrells and all that stuff would be cool.

if anyone wants to know more about the history of the Sith, consider me a Sith Historian. I also know all the names sith robes, lightsabers, and crystals. Ask and I will do my BEST to answer.

I think that with a craft skill you should be able to design your own. Literally, like move shapes, change colors, a 3-D polygon drawing tool. Probably too much to ask for.

I hope blasters are an important facet of combat. in kotor once you become a jedi blasters lost all most all value. Also I hope there will be plenty of different types(Rifle, snipers, pistols etc.)and lots of upgrades (scopes, flash hiders, energy cells, barrels etc.)

Why its a Sith rifle? so if i am not sith , i cant use it? why there should be sith and non sith weapons ? I think weapons should be catigorized by manufacturer. Like Tc-22 was used by anyone.

Love the gun, it is realively simplistic, and Not what you want All guns to look like, but for a stealthy heavy carbine, the lower rifle will do nicely.
