I still wonder what the gameplay will be like. BioWare wont let us even have a glimpse at the interface!
So comparing to other MMOs this game has a huge amount of DPS with no tanks/healers whatsoever, or they are introdusing something new... If it is the latter then ow my god im too excitted!

theres not much to say rather that these droids must be able to cure all kind of wounds (maybe for a fee) or simply another form of companionship for the intrepid adventurer who always gets hurt exploring the numerous planets

medical droid companion will complement the medical class if there is such thing and will make it a powerful ally in battle oriented areas.

Looks great, the retro look is a nice touch.

I think they did a fantastic job on retrofitting the medical droids to look a bit clumsy and bulky. You have to remember that the technology in TOR is less evolved then the technologies seen in any of the films.

why can't they make medical droids look as good as the assassin droids? all the medical droids look lame.

I wonder if in swtor, they will have cloning centers when you die, like in swg....what do you guys think?

maybe... what about everyone gets a call medic skill so when u die u can call a medic to take u to a medical center or something like that... would be cool lol

Very interesting. I would say it looks kind of aquatic. It seems a bit boring though, like it's just A droid, nothing more.

The medical droid...I think it would be interesting if some medical droids could be assassins in disguise. Maybe that could be incorporated into a mission later on when you're a higher level and the other side could see you as a threat, it'd make for an interesting story arc.

Looks pretty good. It definately pulls some elements from previous medical droid designs. That said, there's nothing about it that immediately strikes you as being "medical". It could just as easily be a protocol droid or a maintenance droid. Its form doesn't really seem to evoke its functionality very clearly.

You don't know that. Then again, i don't know either. Let's not be quick to judge until ALL the facts are out.

I won't be surprised if there is A: a medical profession and B: a droid race. Either that or this is one of the Companions you can get and have come with you.

Cool design. Looks really as a medical droid for me.

I like the desgin from the back, but I get this errie feeling about the front that he looks too "empty," like in the chest and stomach area and hip joint area. I don't think you should be able to see through him. Regardless, I can't wait to see this in-game.

yeah it does look pretty empty on the front maybe we`ll be able to mark the droid with a symbol/tattoo

Very nice. I think it looks great. I think it's nice, as well, tying it into the GCW-era 2-1B droid body.
The "microphone nose" is no doubt supposed to look like the mouth of a 2-1B (which was indeed a microphone cut in half). It's stomach is empty similar to the 2-1B which also had an empty stomach, though it was encased in glass.

I agree, I like the design-very medical looking, but they could fill up the middle a little more so it doesn't look so hollow.

Nice medic droid, I cant wait to see these droids in motion.

The companion system, if done right, could be a great way to set itself apart in the MMORPG realm. Still have the ability to group up and adventure together, but being able to impact an entire galaxy solo would make the game reach those lone wolves out there.

In conversation when were talking and we say something aggressive or kind will the companions react like in kotor where were on dantooine:

Well, he looks a kinda like medical droid from TCW. Not bad but there should be more differences in game.

this looks to be a good companion to have around maybe very cool also it cood be a droid to use in battle for both factions as well
