From what I've seen so far, it seems to me that jedi don't get their lightsabers until a little later- I'd say lvl. 8 or so. But still, it kinda stinks. I bet the sith get lightsabers immediately. Sad-face...

Ptientce is the jedis advantage,Like a sniper stalking his prey,the jedi always keep there cool even in the heat of battle and Jedi arent waiting there turning from Pawdwan To jedi as you turn to jedi you make your Sabre and your Sabre is your life. Its the Waiting that makes a Jedi the master of the Sabre

There are clearly many games that have deep, engaging back stories that designers and writers have worked tirelessly to develop but in the game the player only sees what their character sees. Often times the rich back story is used only for the context of quests and players never really get the bird’s eye view of the narrative.
