Is there a forcefield around the mountain? It would make sense considering the ongoing war, but does that mean that sith won't be able to visit? I was hoping to play through on the side of the sith empire, but as a Jedi, working against them. does this mean I can't?

I dont think that's a force field I think that's a gas giant or the planet tython is orbiting, either way I can't wait to play this game! And I think I speak for all of us when I say "PLEASE! Bioware don't make it a monthly payment to play this game. It be nice to have this video game available to all."

it looks very star wars to me not every world would have to be all high tech. some unspoiled woods and mountain areas, remember ithonions actually live in cities that float over their world to persevere is they also thought it sacred or something to that effect.

OH! i just ha an idea! it would be really good,if,lets say, your on a republic planet and then other sith players could hop into ship,fly to your planet and start some sort of raid or somthing,picture it,lasers flying ever where,ships crashing,BOOMS.ah yes,a warmongers heven

Well that WOULD make a game a bit more real, but it would make allot of people mad if they have their 20K credit ship stolen and taken for a joyride.

As of the space content, I don't know if there is any, but they really do need space battles, if ya have space-ships and a war, ya got space battles. And as for the raids, I really really hope that they make massive scheduled raids that would land an army (20-50) of NPC's and tell the people on the invading side that the raid starts at this spacific time.

For example...
The sith fleet commander schedules an invasion on dantooine on January 20th at noon eastern time. the message is spread out by NPC messengers wandering about sith occupied areas, where players can chat with them and get told when the invasion is happening and where it's being launched from. Then the players who got the news can hop on board a landing craft and join the invasion force.

As for the defenders, well either you can have some guy spill the beans and tell them when their invading, or you can make it a sneak attack. But don't expect that once the enemy fleet's ship shows up above the planet, that a distress call won't go out to all the planets occupied/liberated by the defending faction.

You can take it one step further by having some insurgence missions with a team and taking out the outposts so the enemy can show up undetected for a short time. (Cuz remember, once they lose contact with the outpost, it wont be long before people ask how they doing.)

I dont know if it will be kept secretive to the Sith, that would be cool, so that it really follows the story line, cause like in SWG rebels could walk all around Bestine and Imperial could walk all around Anchorhead... didnt really like that, i think you should be able to attack opposite factions on sight if they are in your city/planet

also i think its perfect because Korriban and Tython are polar opposites and tython is a really beautiful and lush planet. Where as Korriban is an ugly desolate planet.

Is Tython a moon of some other planet? That could be a rainbow ( or it's counerpart in that place). This looks a lot like Tython is supposed to look. I am curious as to how they are going to do the ship flying. The database says that Tython is not mapped out very much, and I for one will put exploration as one of my top priorities for TOR.

Yes Alderaan is going to be in the game ( IF you look at Game Overview page it shows the jedi and sith infront of a image of The Petrified mounds of the Killiks in the Castle Lands.)
