Where is this? I've never seen Coruscant when it isn't dark. Could this be a rebuilt Taris? Or even an improved Telos Citadel Station? Those floating cylinders could maybe be used to help it stay aloft.

Unless Citadel station landed on Telos this can't be it. Look in the background, there's sky not space.

the Palace is the Jedi Temple. largest single structure on Coruscant next to the Republic senate building which looks like a huge domed stadium.

Looks like Corusant or Kamino...little different ;)

It's all about continuity and story, mate.

Can't just throw things where they don't belong. Takes away from the experience.

i can't really tell if its courascant or cloud city though i'd proably guess courascant. it'd be cool to see the galactic republic and the high chancellor. i hope bioware fills courascant with actual citizens unlike wow which looks unrealisic with its brinful of warriors and little to no actual citizens. it would add to the feel if we can go to a city and it will feel crowded and used by the common folk, not just the soilders and jedi.

The faraway background is pretty nice, but the ones up close simply clash with the faraway buildings. The background is kinda smudged and has a silvery-blue... glow?, while the up close area is in sharp silver that totally collides with the pick of background. As tough the foreground is out of cardboard.
Again: looking at the background we get sharp buildings and in the front we get these oval things, like different cultures. Just a thought.

Something is not right about this one. the distant palace looks too close to be hasy in comperison with closer buildings there is a sharp contrast betwin distant objects and near .Have a second look at this pick , colors dont work together to create realistik feel.But this is just my opinion.

Thats really just the painting. Its is a concept picture so you cant really judge how the colors work together until you see an actual photo from the location in game.

If the game actually looked like that (rather than the screen shots we've seen) I would play it. Like WoW were the concept art is infinitely better to the actual game.

its not about the architecture in the art there is a REPUBLIC CRUISER in the back which means it must be republic controlled and it probably isnt coruscant because of the size of it and there are also what looks like beast tents (in blue), my guess is alderaan or Onderon

Alderan has forests though i don't see any here.

This could very well be Onderon. It has that very regal appearance that Onderon had. I don't think there's enough in the skyline or mix of colors to suggest it would be Coruscant.

it looks like Onderon from kotor 2, but it still looks sweet.

Sith or Republic Bioware is making it so hard to choose?!?!?! Both Sith and rebuplic have so many amazing cities and tech to offer.

Surely Courascant. Verry simmilar to the new artwork featured in C. bio page. Nice to see the Prequel Senate building making its appearance. Nice touch, appreciated. =)

There are yellow banners hanging in the picture, naturally without any symbol on them, but still, the only yellow banner I could find in this timeframe was the one of the Naddists from Onderon.

It does look like Onderon. Coruscant is way more crowded and it has a bunch more buildings.

This is most definetly alderan not Coruscant for these reasons:
1. Coruscant was almost completely destroyed in sacking by sith
2. Corusant has Purple sky in afternoon yellow in the morning
3. Corusant is a republic capital why no republic flags ships or soldiers
4. The ground level of corucsant is slums does that look like slums
5. Alderan is known for its majestic buety
