BTC 303 – Three hundred years before the Sacking of Coruscant, two prominent Jedi Knights pursued enemy forces into Deep Space at the conclusion of the Mandalorian Wars. When the two Jedi, Revan and Malak, returned to Republic space, they had fallen to the dark side. As Sith Lords, Revan and Malak began searching the galaxy for a powerful ancient artifact known as the Star Forge. During their dark campaign, however, Malak’s ambitions grew and eventually drove him to betray Revan, sparking the bloody Jedi Civil War. Though Revan was ultimately redeemed and restored peace to the galaxy, he disappeared afterward in search of a great darkness in deep space. Through his investigation, Master Gnost-Dural now confirms that this great darkness is the Sith Empire the Jedi Order battles today…

pretty much, kotorII was the better of the two. II got deeper into the story and gave me goose bumps on multiple occasions! i enjoyed the aspect of playing the game 20 times and having a different story every time. BUT, thats also where the confusion happens! realistically, they cant make every person happy. they pick the story which fits into their ideas for the product. there are NUMEROUS ways to play. so they has NUMEROUS ways to write the plot. im going to sit back and relax with a dr pepper and cool ranch doritos for hours playing an amazing game, regardless of which way revan turned! i would say enjoy! be happy. if you have waited this long for some more KOTOR i think you can deal with some small changes. thanks guys! |

Honestly I expected to see again Revan in KOTOR II, but that's to be done .... I hope Bio is preparing more of that glimpses of what Revan did after leaving the Outer Rim, in the search of the threat what is discussed in Kotor II.... Perhaps he would find the source of the corruption that resulted in the attack of the Sith in the cinematic video that launches SWTOR |

I keep seeing people say "no it happened this way" or " no no they said this in KotOR one or two". Ahh folks this is Bioware and Lucas joint project. This IS the way they've seen fit to weave the story. R.A Salvatore killed Chewie in the Vong war and Traviss(I believe not 100%) killed Mara Jade with Darth Cadeus(sp?). Two decisions I hated but hey it's what they chose to write. Oh I believe they have already known for sometime the ultimate plight of Revan, either by thier own writings or by how Lucas wanted it to go. Like it or not it's thier world we're just invited to play in it. |
