Considering cybertech is horrible since 3 min cd on granades is even less reliable than ballistic shield?
Plus as a sniper i already have a good amount of cc and dont need more

You can never have enough CC. Even with the cooldown, your only putting yourself (and your team) at a disadvantage compared to others that do bring that 1 extra AoE CC that cane make or break the difference at a key moment.

That being said, you can just buy grenades from the GTN to use in pvp and go Biochem. Or make a Cybertech alt and craft them for your other toons.

Though even with Biochem, the reusable item bonuses (purple grade) aren't as good as the non reusables (blue grade).

So beyond just use in pvp, Cybertech can earn you some good money while you pvp. Droid QT-10 Parts only have a material 2/2/2 cost and yield Mk-9 components. Those sell like hot cakes pretty universally across the servers. And the benefit is that you only need the base materials you get from the Scavenging missions at 400+. You don't have to worry about using multiple gathering skills to get all the mats you would need to make the blue and purple level items (implants) that sell well for Biochem.

So in the end, it just depends what you want to spend money on. Because whichever one you go with, if you only plan to put time into one toon, then your spending credits to buy the other crafts items. Cybertech being the easier (imo) to make money with and fuel your purchasing needs.
