Ping issues with the game

I have never had the problem with this game until the last couple patches. My system is hardwired. When i am in game my ping meter goes from 35ms with a full signal then instantly to a one red dot. Some days are real bad and the more it happens the more i am going to complain and say this game is not playable. But i have zero problems with any other game i play. I recently called my cable company up and had them at my house and changed a few things, small improvement but the game is still going from a perfect signal to no signal then back. So what happens is i am ghosting in the game and running into walls, running into mobs. You think you stop on your speeder and nope you keep going and drive right off the cliff. I need a fix or advice, this is consuming most of my free time. I enjoy the game, it's getting be unreliable and frustrating, anyone else having this issues or have any known fixes?

This is my exact issue as well and it started about 7 days ago.

I need answers as well. I have had my ISP over also and I have seen no improvement.

have a read of these threads on how to get some network tests done.

If you can also look at your reliability reports http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...y-monitor.html see if it shows anything happening at the same time, incase something is conflicting.

A dxdiag would also be handy to have http://www.swtor.com/community/showt...507#post749507

Edit - if you play wireless, can you try wired to see if any difference ? I know Op is wired.

If anyone happens to use windows 8 and trend micro this is known to cause lag in game.

The game was running perfect, for a long time. I never had issues like this and all i ever do on that machine is game. I don't surf or anything on my gaming machine. I have zero issues with my network, like i said any other games i have no problems like i do in STWOR. I have even taken my PC over to a friends house and used his hook up and the same thing. It's not on my end it's something you guys did last couple patches. I have been a gamer since the start of Everquest i have been through this issue before and what's happening now is not on my end of the game.
