Error code: C7

Hi

I played the game a couple of weeks ago on this computer and all of a sudden I get a C7 error message:

"This program encountered an internal error and will exit.
Error code: C7

Incompatible system. Please verify your system is compatible with this game."


I have tried mailing support@swtor.com but just get the standard message, no help there.

Here is the list I have tried so far:
Run repair utility? Yes
Check Time zone? Yes
Run as Administrator? Yes
Firewall? Yes
Anti-virus? Yes
Run fixlauncher.exe? Yes
Forward ports? Yes
Update Network card drivers? Yes, I have tried to update everything I could think of.
Reset router? Yes
Reset Winsock? Yes (But the command on number 4 "was not found")
Wired? Yes (With and without router.)
VPN? Don't use VPN when I play SWTOR.
Proxy Settings? Don't use proxy.

hmm off hand I would first up suggest downloading the setup from www.swtor.com/download and run restore over the top of exisitng install.

Have you tried setting different video card options on start ?

Out of interest did you update the video drivers from AMD, Microsoft or from Samsung using their supplied Windows 8 Software update tool ?

Do you have the latest Bios installed ?

I tried all 3, but couldn't find any. But I Iooked further at AMDs homepage and now I could updated my video drivers, so SWTOR works again. Strange that my computer couldn't find it.
