Why do we only get to see the patch notes AFTER the patch has been deployed and servers are back up?

Why dont you just put the patch notes up like 1 or 2 days in advanced?
I know this is and unschedualed patch, up you could still give us the notes now so we know what to expect...

To avoid players taking advantages of the changes.

well, if they're fixing exploits and such I can understand. But for class changes, bug fixes, updates on the cartel market etc etc, I dont really see the harm in giving us the patch notes beforhand...

its because the patch notes may change, things may have to be taken out due to unforseen bugs, or if something broke due to the patch, etc.

And they can just as easily update the notes on the webpage too. I still dont see a problem with giving us the patch notes prior to the patch being deployed. Im not saying I need to know this before the patch, but it would be nice to know what changes they are doing in advanced.

PS: Can take todays patch, I dont really see a problem giving us the notes that they have fixed the description on some cartel gear and fixed a bug in a flashpoint.
