Khem vs Xalek

I've got Khem and Xalek in 5/5 Columi and Khem consistently preforms better on 1vs1 fights. Khem seems to be the best tank companion when soloing a Champion npc.

Has anyone else found this?

Corruption specced so between the two it doesn't matter for me. Force Surge is just stupid powerful when fighting an enemy 1v1. Never run out of force and just sit there laughing.

I like Xalek mainly because I've had Khem the whole time and a changeup is nice. I also like his demeanor.

Unless they have made it so that Xalek can actually benefit from absorption, Khem Val is superior in every way, shape and form as they are practically both Assassin tanks, and use the same abilities.

They have fixed that long time ago. Absorbtion rating works just fine.

They are not assassin tanks and they are also completely different from eachother and use very different abilities.

Khem Val uses heavy armor with strength and for the most part has almost nothing in common with assassin tanks. He is your basic heavy armor melee tank.

Xalek at least resembles an assassin tank in that he uses the same type of gear as assassin tanks, light armor with willpower and so on, but his abilities are somewhat different.

But one of the real reasons why Xalek is inferior is that he has so much lower total armor.

He wears light armor but like playable assassin tanks, when you turn on his tank stance he gets a buff that multiplies his armor. However for Xalek this armor multiplier buff is only +42% which is not anywhere near enough to put his total armor to same levels as heavy armor tanks.

It's pretty much the same. Khem Val enjoys higher armor mitigation.
