I went Empire simply because they have Bounty Hunters and Imperial Agents.

There might have been a reason to start with, but the biggest reason people roll Empire right now is because everyone else rolled Empire. It's a nasty snowballing effect. Republic is empty, and this is an MMO, so they go where the people are.

The main reason I play empire is because of the sith purebloods XD. I'm not really such a bad guy.
