This may be out there somewhere already, but I had this issue for the first time on a fresh install last night and Google was no help.

 

Launcher would launch the game in full screen(windowed) but the game "window" turned out to be lower res than any settings available.

 

Tried the laundry list of "fixes" online to no avail.

 

Found launcher settings file in %appdata% (search function will find it) /local/swtor (it may have been in another subfolder here, but I'm at work).

 

Found that the values for "height" and "width" were way off. Width was set at 145 I think. You should see your "native height" and "native width" in this file as well.

 

Simply adjust "Width" to match "NativeWidth" and "Height" to match "NativeHeight" then launch the game and enjoy!

Tested it. Confirmed it works!

that is the file path...was glad i went hunting for the fix...pretty messed up that a new dl would have the settings so far off to be unusable

That path is only correct for you (and anyone else who uses "JJ" as their user name on their PC).

 

Instead, hold down the windows key and press R, then type in

%localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

to open Windows Explorer at the correct folder.
