humipop Posted February 15, 2012 Share Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) So I sent a ticket regarding higher level premades farming low levels in Huttball after scoring 5 - 0 within 4 minutes. 4 sorcerer 45+ premade from the same guild. Passing us the ball as soon as they got the ball, killing us instanly. And just got the answer that its not a violation/abuse of the current pvp system. This is the message i got from the Support: "I am Protocol Droid W4-U9 of Human-Cyborg Relations of Human-Cyborg Relations... I have received your transmission regarding the players you suspect of abusing the warzone match you participated. We do apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. However, rest assured I will be assisting you with this. The game's warzone events was designed to eliminate the opposing team as much as possible, and with other varying objectives on the side note. Regarding Huttball, it may be the tactic of the opposing team to score as much as possible first and then eliminate the opposing team. With the information you provided, we do not see anything that the opposing team violated related to the warzone match. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if there is anything further we can help you with. Galactic Support is our specialty... Winning a WZ early unfortunately does not compensate well enough as opposed to riding out the timer and farming medals/kills for sport. Love that exploit... Until you get more valor for winning than farming medals and kills, nothing will change... Our guild farms, too. At least we do it 8v8. humipop Posted February 15, 2012 Author Share Posted February 15, 2012 I personally don't care that much about being farmed or not, but i guess anyone who plays this game does it to have fun, and this is not fun at all i mean new players will get the wrong impression of what PVP really is about.. well in SWTOR maybe this is the truth BUT i really wish ppl could think outside the box for a sec and not only think about themselves.. So I encourage EVERYONE that plays pvp to do this: Make a premade of 4, above lvl 40 or with very good team play. Destroy the opposing team COMPLETELY, don't let them have ANY fun at all in that warzone you guys have entered, farm the **** out of them, Make them wish that they NEVER EVER tried PVP in this game! This last part is VERY IMPORTANT! Make everyone on your team do /laugh at the same time several times while you're in the warzone ! I personally don't think that the PVP system is ok if its being abused like this to get gear. I made the thread for Bioware to see what they maybe have done wrong. This isnt PVP this is just farming ppl to get gear, it has nothing to do with skill whatsoever.
