TonyDonovan Posted January 6, 2012 Share Posted January 6, 2012 At lvl 50 you unlock hard mode and nightmare mode for instances both of which increase level of enemies to 50 and does exactly what they say. Makes it harder or makes it a nightmare, you further acquire different commendations through playing hard/nightmare mode to use on the imperial fleet to turn into the columni, rakata etc. Armours, Good Luck and Happy Hunting! Hard mode is basically the version of instances most people will end up doing at 50. Nightmare mode, from everything i've heard, sounds like the "you must have no life/have geared for a month to get into this" sort of mode. I don't even think nightmare mode was in beta. At least, not functional. Though I never tested it. But Bioware has, I believe, mentioned they wanted the hardest mode to be a bone thrown to the raid addicts in the past.
