Do I go for the 2nd set of pvp gear once I get to 60 or should I just use the Pve gear ill get later 60+. It seems the pvp gear is underrated compared to the 190+ gear ill be getting later. The expertise for ranked is 2018 I believe. But would I be able to do ranked with the 190+ gear. Would would be better? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That being said, I normally don't even bother with gear in lowbies for the most part just make sure every slot is filled. Way back when I was leveling my mara, it had korriban gear in several slots when I hit max lvl but was still near the top of the charts in damage. Ride bolster for the win.
