Yes, and any other games they can add into Narshadda casinos would be cool as well.

I think the devs should look at the way the game Red Dead Redemption handled card games and mini games. There are some really great ideas to pull from.

i do believe that even some states in the US have laws against gambling, let alone other countries. but if BW made pazzak a NON gambling game, so just play for prizes or something, then they'd probably have better luck with legal issues.

im all for pazzak, whether you gamble or not.

If it's for in-game credits is it still considering actual currency and gambling?

I'm just having trouble understanding how a mini game within a video game using virtual currency (that is not even sold by the game manufacturer) is considered "gambling".

However, I could see it being gambling if the game manufacturer actively sold credits to customers for the use of gambling in a video game that is a nothing more than a thinly disguised casino. Then it's a whole new story. But I'm no expert and nothing would surprise me about the lengths some people will go to try and sue a big company.

Yes, I would very much like to see Pazaak in this game. That would be awesome.

The first time I ever heard about this game was back before they even had a name for it. I remember my boss at work said he heard a rumor they were going to make a sequel to KotOR, but it was going to be an MMO.

My initial reaction was 'OMG MULTIPLAYER PAZAAK'.

EDIT: I looked up Sabaac because I had never heard of it before. It looks like it would be just as fun. I think this game would benefit from having both.

To me, the ability to play Pazaak is one of the things that would take this game to the next level. My idea of implementing Pazaak would that it's available in Cantinas, and that it could be another form of PvP.

1 - Side deck cards could be gathered via player companion missions and sold on the AH.

2 - Players could wager credits against each other for matches in catinas.

3 - SWTOR could host daily tournaments for players to win prizes.

4 - There could be a rating system in place to show a players Pazaak ranking.

5 - Pazaak titles!

6 - A monthly "Galactic Series of Pazaak" where hundreds of players on each server pay in 50,000 credits a head for a several million credit top prize!

If you support Pazaak, post your ideas and your love of the game here.

pazaak? yes

swoop racing? yes

any minigame / fun thing to do other than kill ****? YES!!!

This game really needs to differentiate themselves in the market to be its own thing instead of a wow clone, it won't ever win the WoW Clone game. That's not to say they shouldn't "borrow" good ideas from WoW or other games, but its important to find your own niche.

Side activities and mini-games is a great way to do this.

Pazaak, pod racing, swoop racing, fighting pits, these are all very Star Wars and would add a lot of flavor to the game.

No.

I personally cannot for the life of me comprehend why anyone would log into an MMO to play a card game. It makes no sense whatsoever. If you want to play Pazaak why not install KOTOR? I don't get it, sorry.

Playing with other people, do you not enjoy mini games? Why not add more flavor?

I don't get it either and I wouldn't want to play it. However, lots of people do seem to want this. This game needs minigames added and anything which keeps people logging in is a good thing. So even though I have no interest in it personally, I would fully support the devs working on this.

The fact that some people think incorporating an inconic KOTOR gambling game would evoke lawsuits and backlash is laughable. It is absolutely not true that it would require you to be 18+. This game promotes killing and conspiracy, but thats okay right?

SWG online had Sabaac (or pazaak) where you could do the exact thing this post suggests and it was a great deal of fun.

/signed - i would love to see some mini games added that can steer player activity away from FP/Ops and other combat oriented misions.

I would enjoy more actual game instead of a star wars version of black jack. Who would be opposed to frosting but if the cake is made out of cardboard....
