Please read through this entire post if you wish to participate as it includes information necessary to submitting progress.

 

 

Welcome to Jedi Covenant's official level 55 PvE progression thread! To start off I'm going to let you know how your guild can participate as well as formatting for the progression tracking. As you can see, there's a link at the top of this post to a website. This website will be where all the stats are displayed in an organized fashion by BOSS (yes, by boss, not by entire operation clear). Now, just to keep things organized, I'm going to make a rule: While all guilds are welcome to participate, in order to be included on the website your guild MUST first submit an initial 'form.' It is a 1 time thing and once you sign up, you're in until you let me know otherwise. Nothing fancy, just follow the following format for the post and your guild will be included in any/all progression you wish to participate in.

Now that your guild is all signed up in this thread, you can start submitting your progress!

 

Please include the following information in each post you submit that involves your guild's progress:

 

-Guild name

-Name of Boss(es) killed

-Date (and time if possible) that your guild killed the boss

-Proof of kill

 

Providing proof of your kill: A 'How To' for Jedi Covenant

 

First off, it is your responsibility to provide specific proof for EACH of your kills. The 2 easiest ways to do that are to 1. Record your kill. or 2. Take a screen shot when you kill the boss. Whether you are doing a video or a screen shot, there are certain things that will need to be shown.

Video:

-Time Stamp: Pretty easy to show in a video. If you are streaming, you could show a time clock on your stream which would be good enough. Or you could simply click on your achievement when it pops up in your chat and make sure the little pop up is visible. Either of these would work just fine.

Screen Shot:

-Time Stamp: Pretty much the same as a video. You can show a UTC time stamp if you like although it is not mandatory for this thread (World Progression does require UTC is you wish to participate in that). The easiest way is just to click the achievement when it pops up in your chat window and make sure the little pop up is fully visible in your screen shot.

-Proof of Difficulty: If you used the achievement pop up for your time stamp then you've knocked out two birds with one stone and covered this already. Even if you didn't, that is probably the easiest way to show this aswell. The other thing you could do (only if you are group leader) is right click on your portrait and show what you have the operations difficulty set to.

-Ops Frames: Why wouldn't you want to give your whole group credit? This one is easy, just make sure nothing is covering up your ops frames when you take the screen shot.

-Nameplates/Guild Tags: Please try to show as many members of your group as possible so that we can see that it is a full guild run and give your group proper credit as a guild.

 

Just to make things even easier for everyone, I took one of my guild's screen shots and highlighted the required things as an example: example screen shot

And here's an example video too. Notice how I have a UTC clock running in the top right hand corner: example video

 

*Notes:

-If you do not use UTC for your time stamp, please indicate the time zone of the time stamp. If no time zone is indicated, I will assume it is EST because we are an east coast server.

-You MUST provide the above information when submitting your progress or it will NOT be counted

-HM DF/DP - when you first kill a boss, the achievements that pop up in your chat do not provide proof that you are on HM difficulty unless you click on it.

 

One last thing I'd like to note: As you may or may not know, there is currently a way to 'cheat' NiM progression by using the shared HM/NiM lockout system that Bioware currently uses and this has cause a lot of controversy recently. Bioware has claimed to be working on this, but we don't know when (if ever) they will separate the HM lockouts from NiM. That being said, if you choose to skip bosses and submit your progress having skipped any bosses using this method, your progress will be recorded, but you will be placed at the bottom of the progression and remain in the unranked category.

I'd also like to note that this is not the original progression thread and it will take time to transfer information over from the old thread as I have to manually go back and find a lot of progression info. Please be patient with this process and if you would like to help speed up the process, feel free to find your guild's progression from pre 2.4 and send it my way.

I put the link up for the website which has DF and DP up to date. Still working on finishing up some technical stuff and filling in the pre 2.4 progression and I appreciate your patience while I work through this process. If you have any complaints and/or suggestion about the website, feel free to let me know.

 

Contaband Inc: If you could please provide at least a screen shot of your achievements for the first too bosses, it would be greatly appreciated.

 

Torva Nex: I regret to inform you that I was not able to count your progression as you did not provide any proof of your kills. Please at least provide screen shots of your achievements for each boss you claim to have killed or else I will not be able to count your progression.

 

The Forevermen: This forum is meant for hard mode and nightmare mode progression tracking, so your story mode kills will not be tracked. You are welcome to continue posting your story mode progression here, as long as you know I will not be recording it anywhere.

I figured as much....wasn't concerned just yet, because it's really the full clear that any REALLY cares about, right?

I added some notes to the original page to help clarify criteria for screen shots and so you don't have to go back and find what I added, here it is:

 

-your screen shot/video must provide proof that you are on hard mode difficulty.

-for HM DF/DP - when you first kill a boss, the achievements that pop up in your chat do not provide proof that you are on HM difficulty unless you click on it.

 

Contraband Inc: I could not count your 16man hm Corruptor zero kill because this screen shot does not show proof that you are in hard mode. Please prove screen shot with your achievement or the leader of the group can right click on their portrait and take a screen shot showing the difficulty of the phase. Please also show a time stamp, whether it's the one from the achievement or a UTC stamp from the internet,

 

Tranquility: I could not count your 16man hm Nefra kill because it did not provide proof that you were in hard mode difficulty. Please provide proof of your difficulty. You also need to please sign up using the provided format on the first page so I can count your progression.

 

Insurrected: Please sign up using the format at the start of this thread so I can count your progression. Please also provide screen shots for all of the bosses uou have killed.
