im a consular and i keep getting flattened. Anyone got ideas?

It's next to impossible unless you have your companion.

even with my companion i still get flattened.

Heal your companion and let him tank. It's a challenging fight at the level you run into him (9ish), but if you execute perfectly it should be fine. Edited December 26, 2011 by dakoth

I wonder, can we throw medipacks to a companion? I'm Imperial agent and cannot heal. I wondered if there was a way with medipacks, but...

how do you heal your companion? Or revive him for that matter?

I was under the impression that you got Benevolence at level 9, but it appears I was mistaken - you don't get it until level 10. So pre-10, the fight is going to be pretty tricky. I remember it being easy in Beta, where I was 10 or even 11, but pretty tricky last time I did it on live, since I was only 9 then.

 

I think Qyzen has taunt at that level - just try to make sure you start off tanking, use your medkit, and let him taunt off you when you're around half hp. That should give you enough time to dps down the boss. Use mostly Double Strike while he's hitting you, and start weaving in Telekinetic Throws once Qyzen taunts him off you.

Using a Stim Pot can be extremely useful. Always carry a health pot as well.

Take off taunt from the lizard and kite it around with pebbles like a pro. I don't know. I recently leveled a sage, healer specced, and never had any trouble with anything.

Beat it second try, level 8 or 9. Eh, I've fought harder. Like Lars Baddeg...although I'm underleveled so I went back to do some planetary quests before hitting him. Got focused on another character and haven't tried since, though.
