Make sure you've visited your class trainer and trained all your abilities.

Buy one of the best available medpacks for your level (should be level 16 medpacks) and use it when your health is about half gone.

There are various things you can do with your companion to help prolong the fight, depending on what class you are and who your companion is. If you tell me what advanced class you're playing and who your companion is, I might be able to offer a more detailed battle strategy for you.

Ok mako is a healer, so you should be focusing on doing as much damage as possible.

Mako has an ability that makes her heal better that you may need to turn on. By default, the "~" key just to the left of your "1" key will toggler her actiion bar so you can see all of her abilities. Expand that bar and make sure the 2nd to last ability on the bar (if you mouse over it you can read it and it makes her healing moves cooldown faster). Make sure that ability is turned on. When it is, she will have an additional green buff over her health bar.

Also, make sure you have buffed yourself with your class buff (it lasts 1 hour but goes away every time you die).

If the Queen comes out with any extra colicoids, you should kill them first. Whether she comes out with extras or not, you should open with your Death From Above ability. It will come close to killing any adds she has with her and do alot of damage to her. Make sure you aim the circle so that as she runs toward you, she's running through the whole circle so it does damage to her for the full duration.

Next, you should use Fusion Missile on her. It will further damage any enemies she has with her and also does a nice amount of damage.

Now she should be close to melee range with you. Hit her with an Exlosive Dart.

Now you want to use your Electro Dart so that she is stunned for 4 seconds and can't do any more damage to you.

I'm not 100% sure what all your moves are at level 19, so at this point you want to just do moves that do alot of damage (finish off any adds that might be still alive before you focus on her).

Your key moves that you want to remember are:

Energy Shield: Use this one shortly after you stun her with Electro Dart (4 seconds after - as soon as she resumes attacking you.

Vent Heat: You're going to burn through alot of heat early on in the fight and this move gets you back into high heat regeneration and lets you keep using more moves.

Heroic Moment: You want to use this move in the first 15 seconds of the fight. It provides a little healing over time to you, but most importantly it gives you a second use of your Electro Dart, so you can stun her a 2nd time and stop her from damaging you for 4 more seconds.

One additional tip for playing a bounty hunter:

Next to your heat bar, you have 4 sideways chevrons that look like this: ">>>>"

When all 4 of those are yellow, you are regenerating heat at the fastest rate possible. As your heat bar gets used up, those chevrons will darken and you will regenerate heat more slowly. You want to keep yourself with enough heat so that you never have less than 3 chevrons lit up. When you get down into the 2 or 1 chevron range, your heat regeneration will be so slow that you will effectively be locked out from using your better moves.

So, your general strategy for tough fights is to burn through your very best moves, then hit Vent Heat to get yourself back in the 4 chevron range and then you kind of have to think ahead when you want to use your more heat-expensive abilities. If using that ability will take you into the 2 chevron range, you'll have to do a couple Rapid Shots instead while you give your heat bar a chance to recover. Even if you're not able to use other moves, always be doing damage. Rapid Shots doesn't hurt your regeneration, so that's kind of your time filler move if you have to wait for heat to come back.

Hopefully that's a useful guide and helps you be more effective with your Mercenary. Good luck!

One more thing you may not be aware of. Your equipment will become damaged as you fight and die in it. eventually it will lose all its ability to funcion (including your weapon). The way to repair it is to visit any vendor in the game and look for a button at the bottom of the vendor screen that says "repair all your equipment." You click that button (it costs credits) and all your equipment will be back to full health.
