All that happens is you explode in a cloud of green spray, and anyone nearby who isn't (a) already infected or (b) vaccinated will get infected. Adric_the_Red Posted July 29, 2016 Share Posted July 29, 2016 (edited) Along with rmoving the plague, the vaccine will also make you immune to it for 6 hours. But it's a one-time use, and the effect goes away if/when you die. You can also buy an "Anti-Viral Kit" from one of the event vendors, either at the "triage tent" on the currently infested planet, or just inside the entrance to the rakghoul tunnels. The kit is reusable, and bound to legacy, so can be shared with all your characters on the server, which makes it definitely worth buying, since the event now happens every month.
