Announcements - suck it up and do them when you screw up

There's multiple threads where your PvE customer base has notified you that your recent event has enabled the headlice of the gaming community to PvP flag them without consent, then gank them.

This sort of thing is taboo to people who chose a PvE server. They don't pay a monthly fee to facilitate some sociopath's ability to get their rocks off.

Your company is on notice, and yet there hasn't even been a simple announcement of the possibility of this happening to warn the customer base so that they could avoid it. This is the low point of an already bottom-of-the-barrel customer service.

Here's a free tip to preserve some good will if you have a hard time fixing an issue that is profound interest to half, if not most, of your servers -- put up a warning at login, and tell them how to avoid it.

The fact that you chose to ignore it, as if the customers affected wouldn't notice, is unconscionable. Your little "event" is not worth losing the goodwill of the community, and the business of customers like me who are appalled at your inactivity.
