Seriously pissed off if I basically can't romance her now with my JK. Just finished Balmorra and still nothing past the flirting that I got dark side points for after Alderaan I think. Edit nvm. It is indeed bugged, there's a whole thread on it in the JK forums. It's appearantley being fixed though and youll get all the Kira dialogue/missions at the same time once the fix comes out. AWDBAHL Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 I am sexing her up. There will come a point after Nar Shadda where you fight her sith brother and he reveals she is also originally sith. Later, the dark side option to flirt with her will appear. Resist the urge to take it. Insist that she come clean to the Jedi council. At the council defend her at every opportunity. Once that arc is over you will be able to advance her companion quests like you would with other companions. Eventually you will get the quest where you can choose to kiss her if you wish through flirting. So far as i know that is the ONLY way to get under her guitar pick hat. Do they find out? Are they ok with it? I'm at the point after Nar Shaddaa and fighting her brother. I never tried the dark side flirt, just dumb luck since it's bugged I guess, and as someone mentioned, defended her all the way to the council, again, just by chance. Now we are on my ship and I can kiss her or play hard to get and she kisses me (I played through both scenario's and then hit esc prior to completion just to see the outcome). Are there any adverse side effects, now or later? I definitely don't want dark side pts and while the story arc is interesting (and one I would like to pursue) I don't want to give up or mess up my light side standing so much that I can't get "x" loot that has light side requirements. Anyone with experience of knowledge on this? No. If you made it that far without darkside points, then the rest of the way is neutral. There are no lightside points either, but that's fine. AnonymousMoron Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 (edited) I've completed the story, with Kira at 10k affection, and can confirm that the rest of the romance is fine and you won't have to worry about gaining dark side points (I'm also full light side). On a side note, you'll get plenty of affection with her throughout so if you're not finished with your class story sometimes the icon that shows her as wanting to talk will pop up but she won't have anything to say on the ship. The first batch of conversations open up after Nar Shaddaa. (You only get 1 kiss at this point) The next batch don't open up until the end of Act 1. (Here you get to kiss her again and she says something along the lines of "I was beginning to think that first kiss was a fluke." Then depending on affection levels, even more "options" open up.) It should be noted... so far I am fully romancing Kira, and have taken zero Dark Side points. There was a bug where if you choose a specific dark side flirt with her it would stop all conversation progress. Although I swear I chose that option and had no problem. I will finish it out and see, the only reason I am not too worry it is because I am making like three jedi knights (don't ask). I have dark side points but I don't think any involved her.
