Swizzord
Hello everyone. Please excuse my bad english, I'm spanish, and still learning english . I have been playing SWTOR since more than one month, and I still thinking about this question: What is the meaning of the number that appears near a modification item on the tooltip of a moddeable item? I mean these ones, for example: Lightsaber Color crystal (8) Barrel (20) Mod (16) Enhancement (20) Thank you.
BebeLeBozo
It is an estimate of the level of the componant. The crystal you have is the equivilant of a lvl 8 piece of gear (time to upgrade). Please note it is only an estimate of the "strength" of the componant, not an actual level number required to wear the item. It's there to give you a general idea of what level the componant is. This really comes into play when you hit LvL 50. All the end game items has a lvl 50 requirement to wear it but may actually be much higher in the stats that they give. For example the upper level Black Hole componants are in the 60's but the requirment to wear it is 50. Edited March 20, 2013 by BebeLeBozo
