Important Rules:

1. Must be combat logged on the level 55 Operations Training Dummy on your or another players ship.

2. Must be combat logged over at least a 5 minute duration.

3. It is not permitted for a Marauder / Sentinel to give his Bloodthirst ability to another player who is combat logging. Or for a player to use armor debuffs not available to their class.

4. There will be a 1 week grace period from Sunday 14th April where all parses will be accepted.

4a. After this 1 week all parses making the Overall Top 5 and any suspicious parses (including parses already on the board) will require validation.

4b. Validation will take the form of a separate 1 minute combat log witnessed by me with only your classes auto attack. This parse will then be uploaded to this thread to check that there are no major discrepancies between the auto attack damage from the two logs. (You may also use your armor debuff for this if your class has one).

4c. After the 1 week grace period all parses that are not validated & suspicious parses will be marked with (X) until they are validated, if your parse is not validated within 1 week of it receiving an (X) will be removed.

 

Minor rules:

1. All buffs / stims / adrenals / grenades are permitted.

2. You may specify a time frame within the combat log in order to negate the effects of waiting for combat to end for example, this will be accepted as long as the time frame chosen is at least 5 minutes.

3. Only combat logs from http://www.torparse.com/ will be accepted.

4. AMR profile is not needed if you do not have one.

Ok so...I changed the rules a bit, using a video for validation would prevent some people from competing in this and that was the only other validation method I could think of.

I believe people parsed for upwards 2800 on PTS. Not sure if that was during some form of bug or if it indeed was a reliable parse. We'll see once people get better gear.

Yeah I thought so, but I spent about 4 hours going through different possible specs and the highest I got was around 2150 so far. Edited April 11, 2013 by I_Sithed_MyPants

Just did a quick test with Mox (no cutting) in my pre 2.0 BiS Dread Guard gear. Did not use any adrenals and really did not pay a lot of attention to my rotation and did ~2.2k. So basically it looks like while you are losing loads of your secondary stats, the increase of your primary dmg catch up so you actually can do exactly the same damage like pre 2.0.

 

Guess I could do again like 2.3k with adrenals and a proper try, but I wanna gear up before to actually feel and see an increase of my damage. So I will start posting parses once I collected my first part/s of the 69 gear.

I parsed at just over 2800 on the PTS on my marauder, but something to take into consideration is that on the PTS we were in full, optimized 69/72 level tier gear with new augments/biochems

Did this without using Incendiary Missile and it was actually +100dps from the same rotation but including Incendiary Missile. Seems using IM is definitely a waste of heat now.

It isn't? I haven't noticed, been seeing about +100 dps in 8 / 22 / 16 compared to 2 / 22 / 22 though. Still PT / VG dps is feeling a bit pathetic to me.

Well since the PTS, the vanguard has been both nerved and buffed, but now as we saw there are a couple of new specs that are to be considered which is a good thing.

 

Once they fix the ion pulse crit dmg maybe will be even going back to the pre 2.0 spamming ion pulse spec.

That was 2285 dps, I'm mostly in 69s with a fair stat balance. I have only got old relics and either no augments or old augments in some pieces though. I'll be sure to upload a better parse, when my gear is more complete.

I was trying to improve my rotation. My gear is 63/69 and half augmented since i wait to take my first 72 items to augment them.

 

I guess my dps is low for what a fully 72 mara will be able to hit. So i will upload better tries in the future. Cheers!
