Icestar
Frankly, I do not think they should restore these characters. Just say if you do it, it's gone. I think it is fair they restore the characters, players can delete for different reasons. I had one character restored because I had no room for another so I deleted it, later on I moved a character to a different server sent a ticket and got the original one back. They were very friendly and helped me with that.
NUTMANIAC
He was probably trying to delete a low level alt and accidentally had the wrong character selected. Why did you assume the worst? This.
Lichtfaengerin
Why would anyone not want them to restore the character? I mean, it doesn't exactly affect you anyway? Edited July 19, 2015 by Lichtfaengerin

Calarand
Character deletions happen, be it on purpose to free slots or by accident while removing low level alts, there's no need to gang up on the OP for that, really. Especially that BW don't make any fuss restoring them, all you need to do is send an in-game ticket and provide all the details about the character there. And I'm speaking form fresh, personal experience - just last week I asked for restoration of a character I deleted way over a month ago, because I simply changed my mind and wanted the toon back. I was pleasantly surprised to have it back within 24 hours, with a very nice, partly in-character message from the CS representative, saying they found my toon wounded in the field and escorted it home. One note: you will lose all outfit sets and, possibly, also the name if a longer time has passed since deletion.
DreadtechSavant
Just out of total interest, and I only ask because I really want to know, but with you having to "Confirm deletion of....." by typing DELETE - how do you accidentally delete characters? Correct which makes this thread BS. Why some have to make crap up to try and get reactions is beyond me.

DOHboy
Really? A guy just killed himself by shooting a firework off his head and ya'll are surprised that someone could accidentally delete their main character? Come on now.: THEN after reading about the guy shooting it off his head, 3 days later guy puts it on his chest and does same thing... never underestimate the stupidity of people, especially when "social lubrication" is applied liberally.
