After eternal empire and fallen empire the number of Jedi still alive has got to be very low so I think there is an opportunity here to become a force sensitive youngling found on a planet by a Jedi who senses the force in you and decides to take you on as his padawan training you in the force and telling you the recent history of the Jedi as you grow up and become stronger. Also about how so many Jedi died or are missing and you could be sent to planets searching for missing Jedi and also finding new force sensitives to be trained by the missing Jedi you find and taking them to either a Jedi academy that needs rebuilding or too a planet to build a new academy which could open up so many possibilities for SWTOR like introducing new species like falleen, Ishi Tib and Echani finding new planets and new species of Jedi like:

Sounds interesting. But I don't think they'll go for a reboot of class story-lines. Also in regards to new races in an rpg there are some rules. 1. Anthropomorphic, they have to look mostly human. 2. Gender identity, males, and females have to look different. 3. Class variety, they have to be playable on more than two or three classes

Also: No Gungans, never again.

Wookie, Trandoshan, Jawa, Ugnaught, Talz, Drall, Ortolan and Selonian can't happen because the game engine won't accept anything other than the 8 body shapes in game. so that eliminates almost half your list by default.

Aqualish and Gand can't speak in basic, that means having new voice overs in their language, it means a voice overs for noise and use of machines to alter each noise into something that sounds like those lanaguages. it could take several days if not weeks to get enough to build a language out of it. It just isn't worth it.

Echani poes a problem since you already have Sarkhai in the game.

Gungan and Ewok aren't part of this timeline, even though one of the latter escaped her homeworld, by in large she is anonymous galaxy wide so as far as anyone knows the Ewok species never made it out in any official capacity. Gungan won't happen.

Zabrak, Mirialan and Chiss are already in the game, but officially the Chiss are the allies of the empire and i doubt you'd find that many Chiss with force senstivity or becoming Jedi. Aside from the one in the Alliance base (assuming you accepted her services) and i haven't seen any other Chiss Jedi before. Beyond that there isn't much issue either way with the three species.

Bothan, Weequay, Nikto, Mon Cal, Kaleesh, Evocii and Duros might be possible to put into the game as playable one day but the chances of more than one is looking remote, at best.

Now besides this, it is rumored that Satele has created her own group of force users in an attempt to rebuild the Jedi, completely seperate from what Gnost-Dural is doing on Ossus. She has taken a number of young force sensitives and is training them to be ready for when the time is ready to bring them into the fold. How this will turn out is anyones guess.
