Dabigbom Posted February 14, 2012 Share Posted February 14, 2012 DISCLAIMER: This is just an advert to what I plan on doing so Bioware please do not move this until the thread has served it's purpose. Looking for a decent group of people to start over anew on Republic and hopefully get something done in the process. I am looking for a base of European players, but if EU players do not want, than I'll be more than happy to tag along with a few people from the US. I don't mind time frames. I'm also willing to roll Empire if need be. The reason why I'm posting this is that I have mainly played this game as a solo and I've had a really hard time on finding people that are social, friendly or willing to try out grouping for quests/dailies and the sort. It has already screwed up my vision of what an MMO should be all about and I hope that there are a few folks out there that share the same mindset. Mind you, I'm not looking for the usual guild PR of "Hey come by our guild, we're friendly, we stick out for each other and we do plan on making this experience fun for everyone." I'm looking for an honest base of players that I can actually play the game without having to stumble upon the same MMO community drivel like: Get in a guild, ding 50, expect people to do play or do something and notice that everyone's either doing things by themselves or worse, in private groups that they don't usually allow others to be a part of. That's just nasty and autistic. Sorry, but it is. It leads to guilds usually disbanding after two weeks time of activity or worse, e-drama. I'm sure that there are many other examples of such behavior, but so far this is the stereotypical type I came across countless other MMO's. TL;DR I'm looking for a group of people that want to have some good old fashioned fun without caring about gear (at this point this game is too young for such terms) or any other kind of madness that MMO players hold as sacrosanct. If you are interested in starting out fresh and playing as a unified group of individuals then by all means, feel free to give me a private message and I'll be more than happy to discuss what I have in mind. Maybe we'll get along fine....who knows? p.s No, I'm not trying to create a private group of elitists or whatever people might think, so don't be a plain a-hole or nit picky just because it doesn't twist to how you want it to sound. I am level 50 and only just starting Voss as I spend way to much time socialising and helping out guild buddies. It was at one point a standing joke to see if I would finish Hoth before i levelled. We have a nice endgame crowd developing, who are a tad more 'serious', but I run things way more social Would love to have you aboard, save you time and frustration finding peeps.
