If I had a choice between Crt and Power I would then choose Crit?

You want crit rating around 300. After that stack power. Crit rating has a severe diminishing returns curve after 300 or so. Power never hits diminishing returns. Main stat also improves your crit chance, with a much lower DR curve, so you really need to look at crit rating instead of crit chance. At end game levels, your power will be well over 600 while you keep your crit rating in the 300 range.

the ideal BIS crit rating is as low as 164 with level 61 gear for lightening spec due to the autocrit of end line ability.
