Chiricahua
I dumped slicing for bioanalysis. At slicing 400 spending 5000 credits only nets you a 1000 credit profit. It's been bad since the nerf. I'm going to have one of alts specialize in the making of buffs and stims.

OrrusTHX
To answer OP, no. I have 400 biochem / 400 bioan, and there is no profit in it at the moment. First of all, to make blue quality or better items such as implants or stims, you need blue quality medical supplies. Unfortunately these supplies come from Diplomacy missions. There are not many players at max level Diplomacy, so the mats are non existent on the GTN. If you happen to pick Diplomacy as your third skill, or have an alt, you may have better luck. Bio-analysis will never give you blue or purple quality medical supplies. Second, the best Biochem items such as re-useable medpacks and stims are all BoP. Which means many high level players and serious raiders have taken this profession already for these items. Third, the majority of players are not 50 yet, so there is little to no demand for blue quality "flasks" and MedPacks on the GTN. You have 2 options: 1. Reserve engineer level 50 implants and hope you get lucky with a well prefixed purple recipe.2. Wait until more players are 50 and demand for Medpacks and Stims increases.
