ddayyy
Seriously. Slicing missions give "rare" missions for diplomacy, underworld trading etc which are extremely useful. I took Slicing JUST because of that. The fact it was also a credit making machine with a click of a button was too much. The slicing missions SHOULDN'T be giving more credits than they cost, because they already give additional items (rare missions for other mission types and schematics). On top of that you can get augments from it. AND you can slice stuff in missions sometimes (doors and such) and get lockboxes for extra credits. It's STILL one of the best skills to take. You can make a buckload of credits by selling the high-end rare missions on the GTM. Fixing Slicing missions was absolutely necessary as they were FAR too easily macroable and abusable by Real Money Traders. Kapono
you say overly nerfed I say "brought into balance with other crew skills" When you send out companions on missions for other skills, you are guaranteed a return if your mission is a success - a tradeable, usable set of materials that directly support another craft. This is not the case for Slicing; you have to fight the RNG for a mission item if you want to come close to the profitability of a mission quest for another skill. There is no need to return Slicing to being OP; maybe just jack up the mission durations to 2-3 hours and give a guaranteed item/material (not just cash).
