Vesperascit Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 (edited) Some items can be upgraded, usually Orange or Purple that I have seen. They have "modification slots" in them. Armor has slots for Armoring, Mod, Enhancement. Weapons usually have Crystal, Barrel/Hilt, Mod, Enhancement. You acquire mods by making them/buying them/finding them and the place them in the appropriate slot. If your talking about upgrading your crafting schematics than after you buy your base schematics from the trainer you craft them and then use the Reverse Engineer feature in your inventory to break the items you crafted down into core components. emartell Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Go to the crew skills part of this board and it has good info on crafting and reverse engineering to get better items Green<blue<orange<purple which can be gotten via crafting/questing/etc I get the commendations instead of armor from quests and put mods in my orange gear.
