Just imported my copy of SWTOR and i get a error message saying that it does not allow for me to play from the region i am logged in from. I was under the understanding that there is no region block for australia and we can still import and play. Am i wrong? Did i just waste money and subscription for nothing?

From what I know there is no region lock and we even have an Aussie in our guild who plays so don't know maybe a call to CS or and email

I had same problem with region lock message, solved by logging in on swtor website then launched game and no region lock message

Make sure you've set all your security questions. That caused my region error in early access.

I downloaded the game client, installed it and then setup the account on the website using the cd-key. No dramas at all.

 

It might be clearer if you could indicate at what point you get the region error (or calling CS).

 

PS Hope you've fixed it already.

I'm playing from Australia and I know my credit card number I supplied for billing is identified as Australian (from another game) and I'm not having a problem.

I did have to go through a bunch of stuff after I tried putting in my CD key including security questions but I got the impression everybody had to do that.
