Mine's ARC-170 because it looks like the P-61 from WWII mated w/ am X-Wing.

Imperial side... TIE Missile Boat from the Defender of the Empire expansion of TIE Fighter back in the day. Massive firepower on it. Loved that game.

 

Republic/Rebel side... A-Wing. It looks like a sportscar. lol

Y-Wing, its a workhorse bomber. Sort of reminds me of a mixture of a B-17 and an Avenger Torpedo plane.

k-wing bomber...look how many missiles are on that thing! or the Aleph fighter...made to fight the yuuzhan vong but it didnt happen

old school x-wing for me...

Have to go with the B-wing seeing as my first star wars fighter game was Rebel Assault 2, playing the first level as Rookie One in a B-Wing taking on a dozen tie fighter squadrons. On top of that the thing looks like a beast and handled like one in Star wars galaxies.

some of them even had s-foils like the later X-wing. very old design and highly customizable to keep it up to date with newer fighters.

TIE Defender, those things were awesome in the old Star Wars CCG and in the old TIE Fighter video game.

Naboo Starfighter, what can I say, appealed to me when I was young, plus I played a few games where they were one of the top ships.

my choice is a tie between two ships.

both are absolute beasts, it's a shame they were too late to aid the empire in defeating the terrorists.

The swept wings combined with the traditional bubble cockpit does it for me.

 

The Sith Fury, looks really similar to it, but flat and all black. It is my favorite ship in TOR, by far.

I would have to say that my favorite ship was the Tie Phantom with the Tie defender coming in a close second. I liked the sleek design of the Phantom plus a squadron of Ties that you don't see coming until its too late is beast.

The basic TIE fighter. There is a certain perverse perfection in it's design.

I would vote for resemblance with P-38 Lightning! A great fighter in the Pacific Front.

I kno its SW heresy to say something from the prequels, but i love the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor (Jedi Interceptor Starfighter) from SW:EIII. Just something small vaguely imperial yet sleek and sexy all the same.

 

Prolly biased from SWG, eh, alas.

One of these was deadly in my hands when I use to play X-wing vs. Tie Fighter and we use to have weekly and monthly competitions between many different guilds.

I love most of the TIEs as well.

T-wing probably - a cross between a A-wing and an X-wing.

 

Or a Cloakship. Those things look awesome.

Chiss Clawcraft or bust, imo. Although E-Wings are pretty sweet; I always felt bad for astromech's in Y/X-wings..... they seem to get blasted a whole lot. I like that the E-wing protects them more.

 

Although a Yorik-et (a skip) with a competent pilot (not just relying on Yammosk control) is pretty awesome.

I would go with the Starviper from shadows of the empire,empire at war, the tie hunter from star wars rouge squadern 3 (sorry fro bad spelling) sx stock light,fury class, SWTOR and the x-wing and the a-wing for a bit of colour

if anyone dosent know what a tie hunter is its a tie intersepter mixed with an x-wing s folds it shoots lazers and ion cannons it also has shelding unlike the other crappy ties by far the best of the ties

Oh I have to go with the TIE Hunter for the empire, the Aleph for the Rebellion, and the Classic Droid Starfighter from the CIS

Delta-7 JSF...fastest starfighter along with the A-wing. Also like the look of the Aurek Strikefighter from Kotor.

 

Fav capital ship for looks is the Kotor Hammerhead.

 

Also theres a starfighter in the Republic Fleet hangar that looks pretty acceptable.
