The past couple of months people with Archeology in high level areas have developed a very annoying new habit.

They are scanning Color Crystal Formations and only looting the Artifacts. People are doing this because color crystals are almost worthless and the artifacts are worth a lot in the GTN. However when the entire formation is not looted, nothing will re spawn in that spot until someone else dose.

This is not only Selfish but also an incredibly Stupid hing to do.

1. Selfish: When you don't loot the color crystals, the next person to come through don't get anything useful from whatever might have re spawned, Fragments, Crystals, Color Crystals etc

2. Stupid: If you go through the area again, you have lost the option to loot scan and loot anything that may have re spawned in that spot. You also do do get a few credits from selling the crystals to vendors.

- Bioware, is there any chance in a future patch you guys could fix this. The ability for any one to loot a scanned resource has fixed some issues but we really need the resources to disappear seconds after they are scanned regardless of what is looted.
