I'm trying to get 100% on all the planets, and I've worked my way up to Alderaan. This set of achievements look like they will take forever though. Does anyone have any tips on where to find Strong Mobs of all the houses (Thul, Ulgo, Organa) and strong mobs for the Klilliks? I'm looking for heroic areas where a majority of the NPCs are strong, since a majority of the time for these achievement will be to find find the NPCs, not kill them. Heroic areas work best, but other areas with a high % strong mobs will work too.

 

I already found a heroic area to the north (some sort of dam, empire missions) that gives you plenty of gold Ulgos to kill, but now I need to find the silvers (strongs).

I have a question w/regards to planet achievements. Do PVP kills count as planetary achievements to get 100% or you can do all of achievements and not do the PVP achievements and still get 100% I am asking because I am on a PVE server and PVP is not existent.

I would assume that 100% means everything listed. Easy way for pvp ones is with a friend logged on to the opposite faction.

Well, I have explored all of Alderaan. Even though I spent most of my time avoiding the mobs on much of the map (as I was level appropriate for Alderaan story line), I did get all the datacrons, etc. Strong killiks are concentrated on the lower right area of the planetary map. There is a heroic area (in which the datacron in that area is located), as well as fairly killik-infested lands surrounding it.

 

Not sure about the strong mobs of each house, though there are large compounds for each house, so imagine that is your best bet. You will not be able to accomplish this achievement using one character... I assume you know that? There are some houses aligned with Republic and some aligned with Empire.

I believe some of these achievements are bugged. I have every category completed on Tython yet I am still at 96%. I'm guessing there is a missing achievement or something.

yeah, I know i need to use multiple factions to complete the planet. I already did all the heroics (that's how i found the Ulgo site in the NW). I do recall the Klilliks in the SW, i think the republic side has heroics down there.

 

I'm asking if anyone found a site for strong mobs that are in concentrated areas. I have been through the full planet and nothing stood out for me. Specifically the Thul and Organa mobs are going to be a pain it seems.

Through my exploration, i have found no densely populated areas for thul and organa strongs. Best places i found only had ~10 and were spread out . Also note that droid Strongs DO NOT count towards the achievements. I also found the Mobs in the heroic in Panteer Castle did not count at all to the Ulgo achievement. For anyone actually going for these achievements i would recommend skipping alderaan for later and to make sure your kills are actually counting in the tracker.

I read in another thread somewhere speculation that these mobs are the ones within the factional base camps on the planet, so around House Organa and House Thul (and the spaceports). If that's correct, getting to them would likely require a large number of 50+ characters to wade through the Elite Defenders surrounding the bases, first.

for "Devastating House Organa", fastest way I could do this was [HEROIC 4] Shock Doctrine...pick it up at Outpost Ghrent.

 

for "Devastating House Thul", HEROIC AREA n/e of House Traders Circle (Kings Pass)...this seem to be a lil more tricky, but the best I could find...mostly elites...thul mixed in w/underworld smugglers...needed to b selective w/which mobs to hit...a few mobs that give 4 Thul at a time...kinda time consuming but better lootz...I avoided the champs and droids to save time...still kind of a pain achieving 500 thul forces...I singled out the 3 specific mobs that give u 4 thul at a time, swap instance, rinse repeat...Hint: there are 2 mobs that contain 2 "Thul Supply Escorts"...2 more will show up givin u 4 of em...find the tent w/chest...& a mob that has 4 "Thul Supply Escorts" near the south end of the trail

Two days ago I decided to start working on planetary achievements (except pvp ones) and gave up after 90 minutes and two bug reports. I really can't be bothered with grinding and hunting bugged stuff. What makes matters worse, they've implemented the achievements knowing full well that there are many bugs which haven't been resolved in years.

House Organa - Imp only - Shock Doctrine - go to Elysium with a lvl 55 and grind

House Thul - Pub only - best I found was the area where you first arrive, the quest to disarm the bombs

Killiks - quite a few good areas in Alsakaan lowlands

Rist - House Rist - easy peasy

Ulgos - for elites, do the pub heroic Special Delivery for elites, then House Ulgo for strongs. The mobs inside the palace have very quick respawns.

There are three MCR-99 droids to find and scan on Tython.

Hate to resurrect a thread from the dead, but this thread came up on a google search.

 

A good place to farm for "Alderann Beast Hunter" (250 manka cats, vorn tigers and kath hounds) is the north side of the Alsakan Lowlands, just south-east of House Organa in the Apalis Coast, from where the H4 "Proof of Treason" quest is, over to where you do "Claiming Fort Orrus". You can make loops around that area to lots of manka cats & flutterplumes.

Anyone els find it incredibly annoying that the PvP achivements are preventing (yes, I am using the term preventing since people who rolled on PvE servers in many cases were trying to avoid OWPvP) 100 % on PvE servers? Why are they even listed? Or list them but have them hold 0 % on PvE servers so that the rest can make up the 100 %.

Its Bioware's way to teach all the people how to exploit the game via trading kills with someone on the opposing faction.

Or maybe, when designing these achievements, they thought there would be tens of thousands of players on these planets, so if you flagged yourself up, you would be fighting all day and night if you wanted.

I wonder if Elysium is the best place to kill Organa. These are all elites designed for a 4 lower level group, so they go down easily for a 55 but take a long time to kill large numbers. Also, the jedi don't count towards your kills. I haven't found a good spot for strongs yet though.

x1602, y1806 (just east of Republic Outpost Luurdes) seems to be a good spot for strong Killiks if you make a loop.

Not sure if you're referring to Ulgo Fortress for the strongs (x 2039, y -897 [imps Outpost Bolym]) or if the palace you refer to is somewhere else.

Today, September 20th 2014, while attacking Castle Organa I noted that the Jedi Patrolman (who are strong level mobs) counted towards the "Devastating House Ogana" achievement. There is also an elite level mob called Supreme Commander Kelric, that also counts towards the Organa achievement. There are a total of 15 mobs that contribute to the achievement (14 Jedi and the Commander) in Castle Organa.

I used mcgee's methods and they worked great ill be 100% after i get a jedi knight through the storyline!

Well for ulgo use heroic4 sabotage, u get both, elites and strongs in a somewhat small area. For organa use the schok doctrine heroic sinceits strong or above, currently trying to find a good way for thul mobs
