Is there a material guide to see what I could possibly get from a mission. I hate going on missions and getting the wrong stuff, like gemstones, etc

It says under the mission (I'm assuming Treasure Hunting?)

for example it will say level 4 gemstones, level 4 lock boxes or level 4 companion gifts.

I don't know exactly what kind of gemstones come come at what levels off the top of my head. But if you don't want any gemstones run the lockbox and gift missions instead.

Other skills are similar, usually 2 item types and companion gifts, they all have that.

If you hover over an item it will say what type (gemstone, artifact fragments, etc.) and level (1-6) it is. Then just run the appropriate mission as the other poster noted.
