I play a sorc healer. There seems to be a bug where if a player has a static barrier active on them when they go down the elevator prior to the bonus droid boss, static barrier can not be cast on them again until they die and res. They don't have the debuff but when you target them, static barrier is greyed out and if cast, gives a message saying that this player can't benefit from this effect. Has anyone else noticed this? It's most notable when the player in question is the tank.

I've had this same problem before, and I'm the tank in the group. Granted BT isn't that difficult either way, but being shielded certainly is nice.

I have run into that issue with all the elevators at one point. the problem is with your game. If you go through the elevator when someone has the debuff from shield on, the game thinks it never drops. you can wait a bit yourself to go through, or use the elevator again on your own to clear it out. I end up just ignoring it now because it is easy enough even without shield.

This happens to me in PvE too quite regularly... I would say it is a bug.
