I have a couple of questions about the gree event. First, is there any indication on when the next one will be?
And how does it exactly work? I want to play towards the scalene armors, but have little knowledge of how to get there ^^;

No indication as to when it will return as yet, unless things have changed since yesterday when I last looked at the events page.

As to how it works: The introductory mission begins on the fleet (which you can bypass, but it does give you a reputation token, so you may as well do it), this sends you to the Western Ice Shelf on Ilum, where you pick up the daily event quests at a terminal. The quests give you reputation points with the Gree, when you have enough you can buy the Scalene armour. The reputation vendors remain there on Ilum the whole time, whether the event is on or not, so the gear is always available if you have the rep.

Once you have attained a certain reputation level, you can purchase access to the Gree ship, the Grey Secant. This opens up a few more quests.

Some of the items the Gree vendors sell require you to trade in varying numbers of Grey Helix components, which drop from event bosses and as rewards from some of the event quests. But the Scalene armour only requires reputation and money.

The quests include solo, group and ops-group sized missions. There are also two PVP missions (which always cause lots of howling and whining on the forums), which are fun, but not necessary. You can still build reputation quite quickly without going into the PVP zone, if PVP is not your thing.

Incidentally, the Heroic mission is much easier when done in the PVP zone than if you opt for the PVE variant (providing of course, that nobody interferes with you while you are trying to do it). The enemies seem like they are made of wet cardboard when compared to their PVE counterparts.
