Here's some ideas :

1) Crew skills should give some experience (experience who benefits from rest bonus). So people who don't wanna bash mobs or pvp all times can work this path.
2) there's should be some long and hard to craft items that have the same value of high pvp/pve which would recquired a good amount of time to get all materials (the same amount of time). So people can have new opportunity to get stuff. Or at least some stuffs.
3) More craftbale stuff that are not direct equipment will bring more attractiveness to market : option for space ship, colors, inside furnitures etc... Maybe new equipment colors too, or tatoo on stuff, or metal looks etc.

As there's no forum for spaceship here's some point too :

Bring new content like multiplayer spaceship mission (with a single spaceship and multiplayers job canon or else...) Or multiples space ships

Maybe some space operation or part of operation

More craftable stuffs for spaceship and the ability to have critic stuff for spaceship (with new augments) so you can feel the good sensation of being a bit overpowered in space mission and new space mission

I trully think those ideas could bring a lot of fun to the game

First off, wrong forum. There's a suggestions box for a reason.

1) Bioware doesn't want Pure crafting classes. Understandable really, given it's not exactly an iconic star wars thing.
2) You can already craft top tier gear (if you're patient enough to accquire the schematic).
3) They're working on... something, here. Not sure what, and given Bioware's cagey nature, it's unlikely we're going to know exactly what ship customization will involve until shortly before it hits the game.

As for your space combat suggestions... You know, one thing that I'm curious about. Can the hero engine even support the Space Combat Simulator it's fans so desperately want? I'm skeptical there.
