The force does exist in real life I found it meditating on.

At a minimum, you are going to have to post a dxdiag report of your system to let folks know the details about your computer and its drivers. (and if you could enclose it in a spoiler section, that would be great)

That happened to me and I'm still trying to figure it out. How do I do that?

Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time. (The [Windows] key is the key with the Windows icon on it)
Type in ‘DxDiag’ and press ‘OK’.
This will open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool box.
At the bottom of the box is a ‘Save All information’ button. Press it.
This will open a ‘Save As’ box. Please ensure the text file is named ‘DxDiag’.
Save this to your desktop.
Open the saved file, hit Ctrl+A (select all), and then Ctrl+C (copy).
Paste that information at the bottom of your post. Please use code or spoiler tags. If you don’t use these then your DXDiag will fill up the page making it hard to navigate your thread.

Hello,

If you can hear the sound of the game while you are on the black screen after you have hit the 'PLAY' button, then all you need to do is to press [ALT] + [ENTER] to switch to windowed mode. Then you can set up your graphical settings, put up the right resolution and refresh rate and even switch back to fullscreen afterwards.

Please let us know if this solves your issue. Don't hesitate to ask if you need any further information.

Thank you.
