Any way to get my dead companion back? (unreachable)

So I was stupid enough to venture into a group quest area just to see how tough the enemies were. My companion died, and I had to run. Now I can't revive him cause his corpse is surrounded by strong enemies.

Is the only way to get a companion back in this case to get back in there with a group and kill off the guys standing around my dead companion, or can I somehow revive him from another place?

Thanks guys

I believe that you can just summon him again.

You can just dismiss and re-summon them.

I think that you can also send the dead people off to sell your grey gear and that will rez them, too.

Not so sure about sending zombies to craft or out on missions, though.

I usually just dismissed and re-summoned them in beta, though. Quick and easy.

As long as we remember, it's never really gone.

Kinda of in the same line of questioning...

Anyone ever have an issue with their companion not selling grey items? I sent my vette off to sell all my trash loot, and no matter how many times I "pimp slapped" her...she didn't go and sell anything. She still fought, and followed me as usual..but refused to sell my stuff.

I had a guildmate with the same issue and he and I could not figure out how to fix it.
