In other words, do you have to enter the key code every time you log in, or only when you log in from a new PC?
That would depend on how the Devs set up authentication. They could require you to enter the additional security code each log-in or they could take RIFT's way and just require the code when your IP address doesn't match the address they have on record.

PS. Gmail has been tracking log-in IP addresses of each user for years. You can see the last 5 log-in adresses that have accessed your e-mail account! Woot!

the ability to lock your logins to a static IP(s)would be nice indeed

Will my front door key open up my next door neighbours front door too?

It's certainly possible. I know a family that has done that.

I was looking into that yesterday, and they are on sale as of yesterday (that I know of)

$4.00 + S&H ($2.50 for me) = $6.50. Not too bad.

I tried my authenticator too, out of whim, got the serial number error too. Oh well, that serial number range is for Blizzard. Was worth trying because I'm a cheap SOB =D

Forget about whether the authenticator works between WoW and SWTOR.

I just want to know how it can access other people's bank accounts!

Is it possible to use the same key ? or do i have to buy an swtor exclusive one.

Also the links given to buy a key lead to nowhere.. is anyone have a location where they can be bought without being part of the CE set?

They still have to log the serial number of the key fob to your account. It would be up to Bioware if they would accept these key fobs or not. Most likely they will have their own to issue out when bought. Not saying they couldn't but most likely they wont.
