I've just resubbed after about a 6 month break, and I'm looking for a pretty specific type of guild. Most important to me is a good group of mature players that enjoy the game, and want it to stay a game rather than becoming more like a second job. By mature, I mean adult, rather than crass... occasional language isn't a big deal, but when crude jokes are the primary topic of guild conversation, it's probably not the right guild for me. I'd like a guild large enough that there are people on to play with, but small enough that you don't get lost... I would say ideal size for me is in the 40-50 person range. I also play a bit of either faction, so it's a definite plus if the guild is represented on both sides. If that sounds like your guild, here's a bit about me:

 

I've played what seems like just about every MMO to come out in quite a while... most of my time on WoW, playing from Vanilla until SWTOR was released, with a couple short breaks. I played SWTOR from release until GW2 came out, and have been playing that since. I got tired of the lack of real objectives to motivate end game play and decided to come back for the expansion. During the breaks here and there I spent time with CoH, LOTRO, and TSW. I do a lot of leveling alts... right now I've got 3 lvl 50's on the republic side (Vangaurd, Sage, and Sentinal), with a 40 something Gunslinger, and a couple of 30 somethings and a 15ish character on the Empire side. When playing before I didn't run many Ops... my guild didn't have quite enough people to get anything together and I can't stand PUGs... but in other games I've played any group role in group play. I'm usually on a few hours a night (usually after 8pm PST), and a little more on weekends. I'm married and a grad student, and those things always come first.

Judging by the decorum on the Bastion forums, high school was no more than 1-2 years ago for the majority. Unfortunately, I know of no guilds that satisfy your requirements in the PvP world. Good luck in your search! Edited March 26, 2013 by haterglowstick

Hi Tanshui, acguitarplayer (who plays as Prosinon in game) told me about this thread and that you might still be looking for a guild. If you still are, Freedom Rising would love to have you. We're a medium-sized guild with about 14-20 active players on most nights.
